You can read fresh news and other information within OPML Search. See for example

In many cases OPML mini-sites point to dynamically-updated RSS files, such as podcasts, blog reading lists, financial news, world news, price lists and so forth.
You will of course want to read this content.
The easiest way to read content in OPML Search is to click "read" alongside the search result you find of interest. A built-in "river of news" newsreader will display the freshest material from any sources that are currently available.
For sources of special or continuing interest, you may want to subscribe to them in a newsreader/aggregator of your choice. To make this simple, below is a list of some of the most popular newsreaders. Select any of these aggregators, and then search sources can be subscribed to with one click from search results, simply by clicking on "subscribe" by a particular item. For more information, see below.

Auto-subscribe enables you to make your OPML Searches as always. What is
different is that when you want to add a search result (RSS or Podcast) to your

will automatically contact your newsreader.
If you choose auto-subscribe, OPML Search saves configuration information on
your computer. If at any time you want to remove OPML Search configuration
information from your computer, simply click on the radio button for "Unselect
OPML Search auto-subscribe preferences (clear cookie information)" and then
click "Finish."
